I was born on August 27th, 1962, at 02:25 A.M. My twin was born a couple of minutes later, and then died just after being born. We were born on a farm in Grand Marais, Minnesota. I didn't learn about my twin until the last time I saw my dad alive. This becomes important later on. My parents couldn't afford a crib for me when I was born so for a while the second drawer of their chest of drawers was my crib.
