OverviewThis book explores the history of meditation, including from a medical perspective, and describes its significance for the practice of medicine today. He has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed international publications and numerous textbooks and scholarly books. As a pioneer of meditation medicine in Korea, Dr. Chae founded the Korean Academy of Meditation in Medicine and currently serves as the Director of the Korean Institute of Education & Research for Meditation in Medicine. Dr. Chae has served as President of multiple professional societies, including the Korean Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, the Korean Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Korean Academy of Medicine for Emotion, Cognition and Behavior, the Korean Academy of Anxiety and Mood, and the Korean Society of Occupational Stress.
