Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAlan Fenwick grew up in Australia and attended thirteen schools across the country before studying surveying at the University of New South Wales. After a brief period working in government, he travelled extensively through Southeast Asia, where he would spend the next 36 years. He initially travelled the region in search of traditional textiles, which he traded for a time, before moving into seismic exploration. He went on to build a career as a geophysical consultant, managing large-scale seismic projects in remote and often challenging environments. He later settled in Jakarta, where he raised a family. Following his divorce in 2006, he remarried and returned to Australia. He now lives in Sydney with his wife and two dogs. Measured Recklessness is his first book.
