She has a day job in government education policy, holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and postgraduate qualifications in early childhood education. In her spare time Sarah enjoys reading, walking, gardening and spending time with her three children and budgie, Minty. Michelle Conn is an author and illustrator living on Wadawurrung Country in the coastal town of Torquay Victoria with their husband, two children and Border Collie, Maggie. ""After years of working as a graphic designer and primary school teacher, my love of books and visual storytelling won over and I spend most of my time drawing, writing and wandering around the house in a ‘thinking fog’. I work in both traditional and digital media and illustrate characters and scenes from a range of perspectives. I love playing with composition, light and colour to bring a cinematic look to my work.""
