Le retour du lamentable

Overview

Bahid-Charlie was expelled from high school for repeating too many grades. Disappointed in his ambitions, he gave up his studies six years later after repeatedly failing the baccalaureate exam. The need to survive forced him to take a job as a teacher in a private primary school. He was quickly confronted with a sense of regret. He had to teach the children of the wealthy. These were the very same children who suffered no hardship and who, wanting to ensure a solid educational foundation for their children, avoided the apathy of public schools. To continue selflessly teaching these ""spoiled brats,"" whose older siblings competed with him for diplomas, exams, and jobs-not because of their talent, but because of their financial resources and corrupting influence-was also to endorse this pervasive corruption and the persistence of this miserable fate that weighs upon and imprisons the lower class. To give up meant losing this much-desired job.
