Trip Payne is senior editor of the Zynga app Crosswords With Friends; his puzzles have appeared in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Games, Out, and others. He was profiled in the crossword documentary Wordplay, appeared as a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and was the Word Expert on the CBS game show Million Dollar Password. His many puzzle books for Puzzlewright and Puzzlewright Jr. include Sit & Solve Crosswords, Sit & Solve Fun & Easy Cryptograms, and Pop Culture Word Search Puzzles, among others. Trip lives in the suburbs of Los Angeles. For three summers, Shawn Kennedy helped Will Shortz edit the New York Times crossword puzzle. Kennedy has written for eight TV game shows, and he writes spatial logic puzzles for the annual U.S. Puzzle Championship.
