Table of ContentsReviewsThe interplay between Barnett's verbal and Pizzoli's visual humor results in rollicking surprises at almost every page turn. * Kirkus Reviews * Barnett works wonders with a limited vocabulary, packing the stories with humor, tension – and admonishments of Jack. Pizzoli's scruffy-edged, emotive cartoons are just as funny, and he carries the comedy into drawing lessons and closing endpapers. * Publishers Weekly, starred review * This series title will be a surefire hit with readers who love Mo Willems's Elephant & Piggie books. * School Library Journal * Novice readers will relish [Jack's] gleefully self-indulgent trajectory. * Bulletin of the Centre for Children's Books * Author InformationMac Barnett is a New York Times bestselling author of over 22 children’s books, including Sam and Dave Dig a Hole, Just Because, The Wolf, the Duck and the Mouse and Circle, as well as the Brixton Brothers mystery series.
