Reviews

“International trade remains a cornerstone of economic advancement. As global commerce grows increasingly interconnected, influential, and shaped by business strategies, policies, and complex regulations, an interdisciplinary understanding is more critical than ever. With rigorous theories, current data, and real-world relevance, this book serves as an essential resource for policymakers, practitioners, and academics seeking to understand today’s global trade environment.” Krirkkrai Jirapaet Former Minister of Commerce, Thailand Former Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand Former Ambassador of Thailand to the WTO “International trade is best understood through multiple lenses, yet the legal dimension remains under-integrated in many international business studies. This book brings together international business, economics, trade policies, and legal frameworks in a cohesive and practical way. Clear, insightful, and highly useful for professionals and academics in cross-border trade.” Sorachon Boonsong Partner, Baker McKenzie (Bangkok) Director and Secretary, The Cambridge Thai Foundation “A rigorous yet accessible foundation for understanding international trade, framed by essential ‘why’ questions - why it matters for individuals, firms, countries, and the legal frameworks that govern it. The book also highlights how responsibly managed trade can foster inclusive and sustainable development. A recommended read for those seeking to understand the holistic picture of international trade.” Nitinant Wisaweisuan Former Dean, Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, Thammasat University, Thailand Lecturer in Economics “A well-structured and reader-friendly analysis of international trade. A practical and comprehensive guide to navigating today’s complex global markets”. Chantapat Panjamanond Minister (Commercial), Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo Author of Global Trends for Thai Products: A Guide to Survival and Growth for Entrepreneurs
