International Trade, Economic Strategies, and Policy for Global Cooperation

Overview

International trade and economic strategy are central to shaping global stability, prosperity, and long-term cooperation among nations. As geopolitical power balances shift, countries must adapt their policies to maintain competitiveness and support sustainable development. Effective trade frameworks help nations respond to global economic shocks, tariff disputes, and emerging alliances that influence markets worldwide. Integrating social considerations, such as gender equality and inclusive social security, strengthens international relationships and promotes more equitable growth. Coordinated global economic policies are essential for addressing shared challenges from energy transitions to the evolving dynamics of foreign investment. International Trade, Economic Strategies, and Policy for Global Cooperation examines modern international trade through the lens of geopolitical change, national economic strategies, and policy coordination among global actors. It brings together diverse perspectives, analysis, and case studies to illustrate how nations navigate an increasingly interconnected economic landscape. Covering topics such as economic cooperation, global trade dynamics, and trade restrictions, this book is an excellent resource for scholars, researchers, graduate and postgraduate students, business leaders, strategists, analysts, NGO practitioners, policymakers, government officials, and more.
