Loving and faithful parents set the example, and spiritual mentors from her Christian high school encouraged her, helping her hold on to her faith despite the challenges. Knowing she wanted to impact the world for Jesus, Laura attended a Bible College in Wisconsin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in history education with a minor in Biblical studies.
