OverviewHooray for SummerBy Amy Shepherd, M.Ed. Hooray for Summer is a bright, joyful celebration of the season - and a groundbreaking resource designed specifically to support children with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Created by educator Amy Shepherd, M.Ed., this book uses intentional design to guide young readers through a gentle progression of visual complexity - a critical developmental skill for individuals with CVI. As children move from page to page, they encounter bold, high-contrast illustrations that gradually introduce more complexity in a controlled, accessible way. This is the first CVI-friendly children's book of its kind to support this essential learning process - blending joyful, seasonal storytelling with thoughtful design for inclusive literacy. Perfect for: children with CVI, low vision, sensory needs, and all early learners who benefit from visual clarity and repetition. Product Details: Author: Amy Shepherd, M.Ed.
