Overview

The book is a portfolio retrospective of my photography career that has spanned thirty years. The book has examples of my work from various genres like still life, landscape, documentary photography, and street photography. The photos are in both black and white and colour, and I used a variety of different cameras, including film photography and digital. I am also a songwriter and musician, and the book includes the lyrics to some of my songs.

Author Information

Brian is a balladeer/songwriter performing original country, folk and roots music. His music has been described as traditional, vintage, classic, timeless and retro country, folk and roots music. Brian's songs charted on Valley FM Australia #3. In the Tracks of the Black Bear reached #24 on CFUR's Top 30; 2026 made it onto the Readifolk radio program in the UK. Brian operated a photography studio for twenty-six years and now just creates photographs for himself. He lives in Sault Ste. Marie with his wife, Lynn and their two cats.
