OverviewThis book explores the role of vitamins and organic acids in enhancing plant production under abiotic and biotic stress conditions. Key concepts include the mechanisms by which vitamins and organic acids contribute to plant stress tolerance, their role in soil carbon sequestration, and their potential to improve sustainable food production. By examining the exogenous application of these compounds, the book addresses critical questions about optimizing plant health and growth in nutrient-depleted soils. Each chapter in the book is focused on either a single vitamin or a single organic acid, thus providing a deeper understanding of the benefits of every compound in building up plant stress resilience. This book presents thorough analysis of the available research, offering both theoretical perspectives and practical applications. Ideal for researchers, scholars, and students in plant sciences, this book is a resource for those interested in sustainable agriculture and climate change mitigation.
