Sie hat langjährige Expertise in Industrie und Forschung zum Themenbereich Industrie 4.0 und die dazu notwendigen Ansätze wie Agenten, Model Basiertes Systems Engineering und verteilte intelligente Systeme. Sie leitet den Sektor „Work“ des Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence gemeinsam mit Klaus Bengler und ist Core Member des Munich Data Science Institute der TUM.
