Overview

If you're considering, or have recently started, a career in hairdressing, then this book is a must-have! Concise and easy to read, it's a goldmine of handy hints and inside information on the diverse, colourful and fast-growing industry that is hairdressing. Whether you're thinking of working in a salon, for a manufacturer, in teaching, or even the dizzy heights of the film and fashion industries, you'll find in this book plenty of good, down-to-earth advice to set you on your way - from how to get started, what you should (and shouldn't!) do as your career progresses, to building your clientele and professional skills - and, of course, there's all the jargon and technical stuff that you'll need too. But this book isn't just highly informative, it's also fun!
