Got There: Poems on Vanishing is a collection of poetry inspired by a photograph taken by poet and essayist Alina Stefanescu of lights dancing, disappearing, and then reappearing at the edge of the frame. The poems address the human desire to leave terror, to be safe, to be seen, and to be remembered. This book-length project focuses on the motion of being and being many different things on your way forward and away.
