Good Night Gator: A Little Gator's Bedtime on the Golf Course Green

Overview

Goodnight, Gator is a cozy, rhyming bedtime adventure set on a moonlit Carolina golf course. As a curious little gator wanders through ponds, fairways, and sandy hills, he says goodnight to frogs, turtles, herons, foxes, deer, and other nighttime friends. Along the way, he sneaks a snack from the clubhouse, takes a gentle ride in a golf cart, and watches a clever crow and playful fox carry off lost golf balls beneath the stars. With soothing repetition, playful mischief, and dreamy watercolor-inspired imagery, Goodnight, Gator creates the comforting rhythm of a familiar bedtime routine. Young readers will delight in the gator's nighttime adventures while gently drifting toward sleep alongside the animals of the golf course. The story also celebrates the surprising role golf courses can play as wildlife habitats, introducing children to the wonders of nature, conservation, and the creatures that call the Carolinas home.
