Overview

Back in 1979, I was dramatically touched by God and called back into the ministry. I was appointed of God to fulfill when I was nine years old. I am called of God to be an Evangelist. I got away from God from about the age of sixteen until 33 chasing the things of the world when through a dramatic tragedy God took a fast hold of me and set me on the path of my calling. At the time I was a high school teacher and I also trained seven harness racehorses. In the summer I would racehorses either at Vernon Downs, Saratoga Raceway, or Syracuse Raceway. In all the time I was racing I met some very wonderful people, and touched some very good horses. I threw myself wholeheartedly into becoming a great horse trainer and driver. But, after God touched me, I wanted to become the best Christian that God had ever called. I read the Bible daily for hours, but then God called spoke to me through his word and said, ""if you would be perfect, sell all you have, give to the poor and take up your cross and follow me."" Do what? I had a 100-acre farm, valuable racehorses, cars, and equipment. What? Sell and give to the poor? It took a few months, but I did as the Lord invited me to do. As you might imagine, what could make a person sell everything he owned to follow Jesus. Well, this book titled ""GO"" is a book to witness to what God can do in a person's life after he comes to really know God. I especially present this book to harness racing people because in all the time I began racing no one ever came up to me to explain the importance and way of knowing God before one dies. I always say, what have you got to lose? Try Jesus.
