Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAndrew Vaughan has been working in corporate training programs in Japan for 25 years, as a teacher, materials developer and course designer. He was in Africa before this as a high-school teacher, and also briefly in Spain. He's currently the GM of a Japan-based company, which designs and delivers customized language/communication skills programs for Japanese and foreign-owned companies. Andrew has written Ready for Business (Longman, 1990); he was series editor of the American Business English Skills series Stand and Deliver (Longman, 1994), Business Calls (Longman, 1995), All Work and No Play (Longman, 1995), Give and Take (Longman, 1995) and co-author of two of the titles in this series: Stand and Deliver and Business Calls. Dorothy E. Zemach has taught ESL for over 18 years, in Asia, Africa, and the US. She holds an MA in TESL from the School for International Training in Vermont, USA. She currently concentrates on writing, editing, and publishing ELT materials and textbooks and conducting teacher training workshops. A frequent plenary speaker at international conferences, her areas of specialty and interest are teaching writing, teaching reading, business English, academic English, curriculum design, testing, and humour.
