OverviewDuncan McCord retired from the Navy after 20 years as a fighter pilot when his wife Cora, a beautiful and caring nurse, got COVID. Duncan opened a flight school to spend more time with her, but she died, causing Duncan to retreat into his work. One day one of his students, Tom Hill, an enthusiastic 18 year old, slips him a note, asking Duncan to take his mom Renee out to dinner. Renee has never had any serious dates since Tom's father Brian, an Air Force pilot, went missing in action 14 years earlier after being shot down. Duncan hesitates since Renee is younger, only 36, but the two talk- and decide on a 'non-date' to discuss Tom's future. Renee is worried he'll have the same fate as his dad. After a slow takeoff, soon the two are dating and Duncan feels a similar happiness as he did with Cora. Then tragedy strikes. Tom is injured after he makes a mistake prior to an unauthorized solo flight. An emotional and distraught Renee blames Duncan. Then her world is further rocked when Brian returns seemingly from the dead- and not alone. Can this flight plan to love take wing and fly or will it crash like Tom and his dad did? They're a mix between Hallmark and Lifetime movie plots. They feature womanly women and manly men. The guy will get the girl, or maybe both girls. My books are about respectful love between people that have survived what life has thrown at them, not sex. Always romance. Sometimes action, such as an epic catfight or gunfight. But one thing will be constant: Just like the westerns I love to watch, good will always triumph over evil in the end. There's enough unhappiness in our world, so I write happy endings. I hope you enjoy what I write. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
