Author Information

Eddie Tokpa is the founder of Msingi Soccer Academy, a nonprofit organization based in Uganda that uses the game of soccer as a platform to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged young people with educational opportunities, life skills development, and mentorship. He's also the co-founder of Msingi Development Fund, a 501(c)3 based in the US that supports the work of Msingi Soccer Academy. Before his current job, he was an assistant coordinator for the Uganda Studies Program, a study abroad organization at the Uganda Christian University (UCU) in Uganda.Born and raised in Liberia, Eddie lives in Colorado with his wife, Lisa, and their son, Zeke. He continues his fight against cancer and seeks to provide support to others facing challenging circumstances. He prays that his life story will be an inspiration to others and that his story will inspire them to look for God's fingerprints on their current situation and circumstances.
