Overview

These meditations are meant for therapists to use in session with clients. Effective psychotherapy is a balance of art and science. Education offers knowledge and skills training; however, embodied client healing happens when tools and techniques can be employed in an authentic, individualized way. These meditations foster right-brain-to-right-brain processing to activate and rewire implicit memories and subjective affect states, while promoting mind-body awareness. These works include elements of psychoeducation, compassion, metaphors, humour and playfulness. Wonderful things happen when people feel felt, when they sense that their minds are held within another's mind. -Dan Siegel
