Overview

What are the Elements? The answer would differ from person to person, that is unless you were in the magical realm of the Cascade Region. A small world of it's own where anything seems possible and myth takes form. In the Cascades, the elements Dark, Earth, Fire, Light, Water and Wind is each a powerful spirit that takes the form and being of a human with total control of their element. Every generation, said elemental spirits are reincarnated into a new body, unrelated to the host before. The six Casters live amongst the people of the land, mastering their incredible magic and assisting those who need it. All was well in the valiant region, but then something went wrong. In the last century, war broke out. The Casters, forced onto opposing sides of the battle and their normally helpful powers used for destruction and selfishness. After years of pointless struggles, the Casters decided to end their own reign of battle and simply vanished. Now, a new century has dawned and though it is not completely clear to them, the Casters have been chosen. The spirits rests within their newest host, waiting until the day the chosen ones learn to harness their magnificent powers. Sides have been made and lines drawn as a new battle begins and a new threat launches the first strike. Can the new six come together to end the war as in the past, or will time run short, and the end of freedom in the Cascades with it? Only time and luck will tell.

I like to read and write. Those are two things that I've said since I was elementary school and even as I write this, makes me smile. It's the answer to every what do you like to do question and according to my brothers something I've even yelled in my sleep. The magical places a book can take you are limitless and continue to surprise me to no end. I love reading and once I start my imagination starts moving and no one has been able to stop it. Whether it's a fanfiction about my favorite series, a short story or an attempt at a full fledged novel, writing has always been my greatest passion and something I don't think I will ever truly tire of.
