She grew up marveling at Pixar films, and when she watched an inspiring documentary on how this animation studio came to be, she bought a one-way ticket across the country to pursue her own storytelling dreams. Luna now lives in Brooklyn, New York, in a tiny brownstone apartment across from a beautifully green park, working as a children's book author and editor. Gurihiru is the artistic duo of Chifuyu Sasaki, a penciler and inker, and Naoko Kawano, a colorist. They work on a variety of projects, such as American comic books, character designs for games and animation, and book illustrations. They currently reside in Saitama, Japan.
