She has created numerous vocal and theatrical compositions and served as the artistic director of 'Nuovi Spazi Sonori,' an Italian association dedicated to promoting contemporary music, from 1986 to 1993.Mandanici holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Music Technology from the Conservatory of Como, Italy, earned in 2012, and a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, completed in 2016. Her interdisciplinary academic background informs her innovative approach to research and teaching.Her studies focus on using technology in music education and rehabilitation, investigating new ways to combine technology and music for therapeutic and educational outcomes. Since 2019, she has been teaching in the MSc program in Technologies for Music Education.
