OverviewThis book is a clinically focused guide for the evaluation and management of pancreatic cystic lesions, integrating advances in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), cross-sectional imaging, cytology, and cyst fluid analysis to improve diagnostic accuracy. It discusses the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges associated with these lesions and supports effective clinical decision-making. The chapters provide detailed insights into pancreatic cystic lesions, with clear discussions on cytology, fluid tumor markers, and molecular profiling to enhance diagnostic precision. The book also addresses evidence-based surgical and non-surgical management strategies, enabling confident, real-world decision-making. It is supplemented with high-quality images from contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), EUS, as well as cytological and histopathological findings, to aid clinical interpretation.
