In 1990, she was awarded a Bachelor of Education from Edith Cowan University and in 2000 a Master of Education from the University of Wollongong. In 2011, she earned a PhD from the University of Wollongong. Dominique Parrish founded Learning Achievements and Solutions, a small business that contracts to small and medium enterprises in tertiary institutions. She has recently taken up a role in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Wollongong as the Director of Learning, Teaching and the Student Experience.
