Leopold Ringel ist akademischer Oberrat a.Z. an der Universität Bielefeld. In seiner Forschung an der Schnittstelle von historischer Soziologie, politischer Soziologie und Organisationssoziologie beschäftigt er sich u.a. mit den Themen Transparenz, Quantifizierung (insb. Rankings) und Expertise. Tobias Werron ist Professor für Soziologische Theorie und Allgemeine Soziologie an der Universität Bielefeld. Seine aktuellen Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Soziologie der Konkurrenz, historische Soziologie des Nationalismus und Praktiken des Theoretisierens in den Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften.
