Overview

An empowering gift book from the creator of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Courage is a celebration of big and small moments of bravery. With a special inscription area in the front, it's perfect to give to graduates or anyone who needs a boost before their next adventure. There are many kinds of courage. Awesome kinds. And everyday kinds. Courage is sometimes having to say goodbye. Courage is two candy bars and saving one for tomorrow. Bernard Waber, creator of iconic picture books, asks the question ""What is courage?"" in this heartfelt exploration of its many varied kinds, big and small, that bring out the hero in each of us. From ""being the first to make up after an argument"" to ""going to bed without a nightlight,"" this heartfelt book encourages everyone to value their bravery. This gift edition includes a special inscription area in the front where gift givers can write a note to a loved one who is leaping into something new. Available as a lower-priced hardcover edition.
