Author Information

Ronnette Smith-PowellTeaching has always been her passion! She has taught in the public school system for almost 30 years. She began her career in Newark, NJ. In 2002 she joined a magnificent team of educators in Willingboro, NJ. serving as first, second-grade, and kindergarten teacher. In 2024 she embarked on a new exciting journey as a Literacy Specialist where she built a progressive knowledge of what children experience as early readers. Ronnette Smith-Powell is also an author, playwright, motivational speaker, and puppeteer has allowed me the wonderful opportunity to dive deeper into early childhood by creating a platform of expression and interaction through the joy of entertainment, literature, imaginary fun, and learning.
