Overview

THE SEVEN time-travel adventure series follows a group of kids who are given incredible powers (super-charged displays of the gifts of the spirit) which they all received the same day then find each other over the course of the book series. They unite to battle a villain who is trying to disrupt Bible history. In book four of the series--COLLAPSE, based on Joshua 3:6 - our team is joined by a sixth member, Jameer, an African American boy who is 16. The team travels back in time following Bales to the time of Rahab and the battle of Jericho. Now that Bales true mission has been identified they must stop him and work to rescue Josh's dad Edison before it's too late! THE SEVEN carefully follows biblical history and even throws in some archaeology to show the truth behind the Bible. Every book has a secret code adventurers can decipher, testing to see how carefully they are reading and how well they know the Bible.

Troy Schmidt is an author and television writer for Disney, ABC, Nickelodeon, Thomas Nelson and Lifeway. He has written for Max Lucado's ""Hermie and Friends"" series and was a writer/producer on ""The American Bible Challenge"" with Jeff Foxworthy for the Game Show Network. His other book titles include ""Release,"" ""Saved,"" ""40 Days,"" ""Chapter by Chapter"" plus an entire Praying Through the Bible series. He also wrote ""This Means War"" and ""Revealed"" based on the movies of Alex & Stephen Kendrick, and ""Fish Sandwiches"" published by NavPress. Troy is a pastor and the Director of Communications at Family Church in Windermere, Florida.
