Author Information

Born November 1978, Lewis LaRosa is an American artist and illustrator living in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife and two children. He specializes in comic book and sequential art, character design and concept art, and his favorite, paleoart. Lewis is a dinosaur himself in the sense that his work is strictly traditional, encompassing a mix of pencil, pen, marker, ink wash, and paint on board. He earned a bachelor's degree in studio art from Kennesaw State University, where he spent extensive time drawing and painting from life. Published internationally for over 20 years, notable projects include reinventing the Punisher for Marvel Comics, which influenced the character's subsequent movies and TV shows; Bloodshot for Valiant Comics, which earned him a credit in the motion picture; and Fortnite loading screens for Epic Games.
