Table of ContentsReviews""This remarkable book reframes cancer not as an end point, but as a turning point. With clarity, compassion, and rigor, Peper, Gorter, and Faass show how a truly holistic approach can help patients not only survive cancer, but thrive-restoring agency, meaning, and hope when they are needed most."" - DEVRA DAVIS, PhD, MPH, Founder of the Environmental Health Trust, Author of Disconnect and Staying Alive ""In a field often dominated by narrow viewpoints, this book offers a broad, hopeful, and well-referenced exploration of cancer - how it arises, how the immune system can be supported, and what patients can do day-to-day to help themselves heal."" - BEN MOSS, The Moss Report and Townsend Letter ""This is essential reading for anyone diagnosed with cancer who wants to go beyond simply treating the tumor to having the best quality and length of life possible."" - WAYNE B. JONAS, MD, Past Director of NIH-OAM, President, Healing Works Foundation, Author of Healing and Cancer. ""When I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and told I had only five months to live, a friend sent me his book. It arrived filled with love and hope, opening the door to new possibilities. My infinite gratitude to the friend who sent me the book and walked beside me through darkness and pain, offering presence, kindness, and light-my dear friend, Erik Peper."" -ESTHER A. OLDS, Cancer Survivor, Child Psychologist, Mental Health Counselor, Art Therapist, Biofeedback & Neurofeedback Trainer, Herbal Medicine Practitioner ""Billions of dollars have been spent on winning the war on cancer. Modern medicine has made major advances, but with limited success in overall survival. The focus is on killing cancer cells faster than healthy cells. The real solution lies within each of us: mobilizing our body's own defenses. Cancer Reconsidered presents a comprehensive overview of how to accomplish this, and the resources are largely within reach of anyone. This book offers a much-needed paradigm shift based on science. These ideas also relate to most chronic illnesses and diseases. It is a must-read for anyone enduring chronic mental and physical suffering. Your body knows how to heal."" -DAVID HANSCOM, MD., Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, Author of Calm Your Body, Heal Your Mind: Transcend Pain, Anxiety, Anger, and Repetitive Unwanted Thoughts Author InformationErik Peper, Ph.D., BCB, is an international authority on biofeedback, lifestyle, holistic health, and stress management.
