Sheila L. Cavanagh is Professor of Sociology, York University, Canada, and candidate at the Lacan School of Psychoanalysis. She co-edits Australian Feminist Studies and is former Chair of the Sexuality Studies Association in Canada. Cavanagh’s scholarship in gender, feminism, and Lacanian psychoanalysis has been published internationally.
