Author Information

Astra Emir practised as a barrister for many years, specialising in employment law, transport law and other areas. She also lectures and is an examiner for various institutions, and is the author of Selwyn’s Law of Employment (OUP, 23rd edition, 2026) and co-author of Employment Law: An Introduction (SAGE, 6th edition, 2025) among other publications.
