Biothermokinetics

Overview

The International Study Group of Biological Thermodynamics, control and kinetics (BioThermoKinetics), is a loosely organized group of scientists that combines experimental and theoretical studies to enhance the understanding of cellular systems in which various molecular processes cooperate to produce physiology. The Study Group holds biannual conferences and organizes occasional schools. This book is an account of the most recent work by the group and contains an overview of recent developments in quantitative molecular biochemistry. Various topics are dealt with in short papers, which refer to primary papers for details. Their importance is indicated in the context of contemporary quantitative cell biochemistry.
