Author Information

S. C. Rastogi, Ph.D., has been Professor and Head of Biological Sciences Group at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, where he served for 38 years. An author of several books on molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics, his particular area of expertise has been research in computer applications in molecular biology and enzyme biotechnology. Namita Mendiratta, M.A. (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani, is Vice-President with IL&FS Technologies, Gurgaon, and has worked extensively on large bioinformatics projects. She has over 25 years of experience in IT industry, and has co-authored a book on bioinformatics. Parag Rastogi, M.Sc. (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani, and MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, has worked in industry in various capacities in IT and consulting. He has over 18 years of industrial experience and has co-authored books on bioinformatics and Macromedia Cold Fusion.
