OverviewBinky and the Rainbow Mango follows a peculiar cat who loves eating fruit. Ever since Binky could remember she has eaten at least one piece of fruit every day. One day, it seems like she has tried every fruit there is to try, but maybe that isn't so true. Binky begins a long journey, enduring weather that ranges from snowy blizzards to scorching heat waves. In the end, it's all worth it. Binky and the Rainbow Mango is the second children's book published by CAPE Club. CAPE Club is a youth led non-profit organization that assists youth authors and artists in publishing their own books. These books are then read and donated to spaces with children (elementary schools, daycares, pediatric hospitals, etc). CAPE Club's first book is Feeble Franny by Jenny Duong & Maggie V. Ha, who were juniors in high school when creating their first children's book. Jenny Duong is also the author and illustrator of Binky and the Rainbow Mango and began creating the book in her senior year in high school.
