Author Information

Dahee Ryu was born in Virginia and raised in California. A writer of lyrical fiction and poetry, she explores themes of identity, belonging, and the search for meaning in her work. Between staying up past midnight wondering about the meaning of life and adding new pieces of writing to her hundreds of works-in-progresses, she finds great joy in calling herself an explorer, experiencing life's firsts as raw as she can. Her writing has been recognized on multiple occasions by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. At the moment, she is currently working on a science fiction novel that she hopes to publish in the future.
