Author Information

Kerry Sheridan is an award-winning reporter with NPR member station WUSF in Tampa. Her stories regularly air on NPR, and her writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Salon, National Geographic, and San Francisco Chronicle. She has also reported from the Middle East for Voice of America and Agence-France Presse. Sheridan earned a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University and was awarded a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship for Cultural Reporting. She lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband and two children.
