She was a senior engineer, Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL), Singapore from 2000 to May 2001. She was a senior research staff, NUS from June 2001 to March 2003. She was an Ordinary Member of Singapore Computer Society from 2000 to 2005. She is an IEEE member from 2007, a committee member of IEEE SG WIE AG 2008, and a member of SingAREN (Singapore Advance Research and Education Network) from 2000. Dr. Guo is currently a research fellow at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore. She has published number of papers in the international journals and conferences.
