Jianwu Li, Senior Engineer, is currently the Deputy Director of Herbarium of Xishuanbanna Tropical Botanical Gardens, CAS. In the last 15 years, he has led or participated in many expeditions in southern China and southeastern Asia. He has collected more than twenty thousand specimens. He is author or co-author of over 30 papers and several books. He has described ten new species and took part in more than five orchid conservation projects. Deping Ye passed away in 2020 during a botanical survey in Yunnan. He was once a staff in Pu-Er Administration of Forest and Grassland. He participated in many botanical survey in southern China.
