Author Information

Xiaohua Jin is currently a PI in Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He has authored or co-authored over 120 scientific papers and several books. His research concentrates on taxonomy, pollination, and conservation of orchids from Asia. Over the last 20 years, he has led or participated in many botanical survey in China, and Southeastern Asia. He has described 1 new tribe, 2 new genera, and 70 new species. Jianwu Li, Senior Engineer, is currently the Deputy Director of Herbarium of Xishuanbanna Tropical Botanical Gardens, CAS. In the last 15 years, he has led or participated in many expeditions in southern China and southeastern Asia. He has collected more than twenty thousand specimens. He is author or co-author of over 30 papers and several books. He has described ten new species and took part in more than five orchid conservation projects. Deping Ye passed away in 2020 during a botanical survey in Yunnan. He was once a staff in Pu-Er Administration of Forest and Grassland. He participated in many botanical survey in southern China. He had authored or co-authored ten papers and described one new genus and five new species.
