He has advanced degrees in microbiology, statistics, counseling, human science, and psychology. Dr. Paulson is the author of numerous articles and books, including Handbook of Topical Antimicrobials: Industrial Applications in Consumer Products and Pharmaceuticals (CRC Press, 2003).
