Overview

The ocean is a magical place for Anthony the Chicken. He dreams of seeing it and works to get there. He meets other chickens along the way, also the Purple Pasha, and Meep, the glowing dinosaur. He learns about following ones dream, persistence, and the importance of preparation. In the second story, Anthony the Chicken meets Bugger. They become great friends. Bugger hurts himself in an accident, and Anthony becomes stronger and finds a strength inside himself that he didnt know he had.

Author Information

Carol received a Bachelor of Arts In Individual Studies from Columbia College in Columbia, MO. with a concentration in theatre. She also received an Associate of Arts from B.C.C. in El Dorado, KS. with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Carol worked as a teacher in Early Childhood for over 20 years at the Educare Learning Lab Child Care Center in El Dorado. She has led a well-rounded life including jobs as a bartender, a storyteller, an actress, a waitress and a teacher among others. She finds time to also volunteer at her church, she started Priscillas Pet Pantry, an outreach that gives humans free dog and cat food to feed their pets. Carol also volunteers at the Kansas Oil Museum. Shes been writing off and on for most of her life remembering some of the books she read and how they influenced her, the things that have happened in her life. Carol lives in El Dorado, KS. with her husband Wayne and a tuxedo cat named Goat. Yes, she does have naturally curly hair.
