Reviews

Anomaly is one of the most innovative and rousing epic adventures l've seen. This story of a team of explorers marooned on a distant planet marries action and ideas in spectacular fashion, and holds important lessons for our society today. -- Harrison Ford They have uncovered a shrewd world in ANOMALY, one where simply fighting for survival is not enough. Loaded with offbeat characters and idiosyncratic socio-structures, ANOMALY does a smashing job of bringing us back to the fundamentals of humanity. -- Ridley Scott The reason this book is important is because we in the comic book industry have misleadingly used the words graphic novel' as a throw away term. We apply it to almost anything that reprints old editions of previously printed materials. What no one has done is to ACTUALLY do a fully rendered graphic novel of this scale from the very onset. This book represents what I always thought l should be holding in my hands: a meaty, sophisticated book filled with epic story and art that reads like a movie. -- Todd McFarlane ANOMALY is Epic in terms of its scope and breadth and story. lt's also Epic in terms of sheer size and volume. This is one huge beast. lt demands respect and awe and involvement from the Reader. lt's difficult to adequately describe, praise, or assess ANOMALY by the usual terms, all of which is actually a very good thing: it means you're beholding something altogether NEW. lt will seriously kick the next generation of entertainment media into high gear, and deliver to all the prognosticators, speculators and skeptics an effective kick to their collective asses as well. -- Bill Sienkiewicz
