Reviews

A fascinating and highly readable book. -- The Tablet. Written with a deep, though not uncritical, sympathy for the Copts, and a keen awareness of the problems they face in an Islamic society. --Church Times. I warmly commend Among the Copts as a substantial contribution to Ecumenical understanding. -- George Carey, former Archbishop of Canterbury. This book, well illustrated and with pictures of Coptic life and historical sites, is one of the best-informed and most authoritative books on the contemporary situation in the ancient Church of Alexandira. -- Coptic Church Review.
