""During the time the MARQUIS was sold to America, several luxuriously equipped photo shoots took place in the USA. The best photos from this period are brought together for the first time in this volume and are available to the public! In 2015, I received a call from the US ... C. Michael Martell contacted me and said he wanted to buy MARQUIS. We quickly came to an agreement, and an exciting time began, with big plans and ambitions. Michael is a generous man, and he also thinks big. In his luxurious house on the East Coast, a huge photo studio with extensive equipment was built, and the house itself served as a backdrop. His collection of supercars and firearms was also used. Westward Bound and Marquis Fashion contributed latex outfits. Michael enjoyed the fetish life in his home when I invited top models from Europe. Together with US model Carrie LaChance, who lived around the corner in Portland with her partner Nate at the time, and Jade Vixen from New York, we had a top-notch cast for some spectacular photo series, which are presented in this volume. We had a great time; there was a well stacked bar (spiced rum!), a home theater, a large hot tub, and a professional Weber grill, plus a well-stocked freezer with the best steaks... Unfortunately, the American adventure ended after a few years; there were technical and distribution problems. Michael returned the company to me, which has since found a new owner in Andreas Reichardt, who continues to successfully publish the magazine.
