All Minds on Mathematics: Math Workshop for Every Learner

Overview

All Minds on Mathematics presents a vision for instruction that invites each learner to see themself as a capable mathematician. Grounded in research and enriched by authentic classroom vignettes, Wendy Ward Hoffer expands on the ideas in her previous book, Minds on Mathematics, to show how a math workshop can meet every learner's need for safety, purpose, inspiration, challenge, support, and growth in the context of math learning. This book establishes clear purpose for our work as math educators and explores the stances we can embrace to achieve best results. All Minds on Mathematics provides practical solutions for creating engaging, inclusive math experiences that spark curiosity, build student agency, and deepen understanding. Hoffer empowers teachers to design and facilitate effective math lessons that make learning accessible, joyful, and transformative. Discover how to unlock every student's potential and foster a love of mathematics for all.
