Author Information

Yasir Abdelgadir Mohamed (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Technology and the M.Sc. degree in Network and Computer Engineering from the University of Gezira, Sudan, in 2001 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2010. He is an academic and researcher with extensive experience in information systems, cybersecurity, and advanced networking technologies. He previously served as the Head of Information Systems and the Head of the Statistics Department at Karary University (2012–2021), contributing to curriculum development and academic quality enhancement. He has delivered postgraduate (M.Sc.) courses, supervised numerous postgraduate students, and published in reputable journals and conferences. His research interests include network security, cloud computing, software-defined networking (SDN), the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence applications. Akbar Khanan earned his master's degree in computer science from Kohat University of Science and Technology in Kohat, Pakistan. He has been a dedicated full-time Faculty Member at the College of Business Administration in the Department of Management Information System, at A’Sharqiyah University in Ibra, Oman. His research domains encompass a wide range, including IoT, connected vehicles, wireless communications, networking, security issues in wireless networks, big data, cloud computing, and smart cities. Over the years, Akbar has guided numerous graduate and undergraduate students at the College of Business Administration. He has also taken an active role in organizing various workshops, seminars, and training sessions. In addition to his academic contributions, Akbar has a keen interest in quality auditing (QA) and has actively participated in numerous QA initiatives, including self-review auditing. Notably, Akbar has played a significant role in shaping the future of learning. He has been instrumental in creating new bachelor's degrees in Cybersecurity and Internet and Information Technology, proposing an innovative program in Data Science and Data Analytics, and updating the Bachelor of Business Administration (Management Information System) program. Aisha Hashim is currently a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. She completed his bachelor degree studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Gezira, Sudan. She completed her MSc and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia. Her research interests include Wireless Networking, Network Mobility, and Cognitive Radio. He is a registered senior member of the IEEE. Professor Aisha who is actively involved in research and postgraduate programmers, has published more than 200 journal/conference papers, and supervised/co-supervised more than 40 Ph.D/Master's students. She received the Promising Researcher Award in 2009 during IIUM Quality Day. She has also received many medals/awards in different national/international research exhibitions. One of her research exhibitions won the Promising Commercial Value Award (Second Runner Up) in IRIIE 2014.
