Her books include Against Technoableism, Animal Constructions and Technological Knowledge, and Spaces for the Future (coedited). She lives in Blacksburg, Virginia. Maria Pendolino is an award-winning voice actor and narrator from Buffalo, New York. From commercials to pop culture documentaries, animation, video games, and audiobooks, Maria's signature voice is heard all over the world. In addition to her voice acting work, Maria has also been seen on-camera on Lifetime's hit series Army Wives and National Geographic's Locked Up Abroad. She fulfilled a life-long dream when she and her husband Eric appeared on HGTV's flagship series House Hunters. Maria is disabled due to psoriatic arthritis and advocates for other disabled performers and creatives by helping to lead The Disabled Voice Actors Database initiative.
